We develop ProSpace, a biodegradable balloon that create a physical separation between pathologic (benign or malignant) and healthy tissues during radiation therapy, reducing the effects of radiation on surrounding, healthy tissues.

Radiation therapy can inadvertently expose surrounding healthy tissues and organs to potentially injurious high doses of radiation. This can adversely affect a patient's quality of life, and may also cause conditions requiring significant interventions or other severe health consequences.
